About the role
The Assistant Manager is responsible for supporting the Store Manager in managing all store operations, ensuring optimal customer experiences, and maintaining brand standards.
Responsibilities
30% Brand: Supervise and support associates in delivering exceptional customer experiences, maximizing sales and driving customer loyalty. Ensure all brand standards are met and resolve customer issues.
30% People: Engage, train, and develop teams to achieve business objectives. Recruit and manage associates, addressing their strengths and opportunities. Maintain positive relationships and ensure compliance with company policies.
30% Operations: Manage store processes, including inventory, payroll, and store operations. Ensure adherence to company guidelines and utilize digital strategies.
10% Safety/Loss Prevention: Ensure a safe store environment, protect company assets, and comply with HAZMAT regulations. Analyze and utilize available reporting and technology.
Requirements
High School Diploma or equivalent
At least 18 years of age
Minimum 3+ years retail sales/customer service experience preferred
At least 1+ year(s) prior management experience preferred
Ability to lead or support a team to meet business objectives
Effective communication skills
Scheduling availability to meet business needs
Cosmetology license desirable, but not required
