About the role

The Assistant Manager is responsible for supporting the Store Manager in managing all store operations, ensuring optimal customer experiences, and maintaining brand standards.

Responsibilities

• 30% Brand: Supervise and support associates in delivering exceptional customer experiences, maximizing sales and driving customer loyalty. Ensure all brand standards are met and resolve customer issues.

• 30% People: Engage, train, and develop teams to achieve business objectives. Recruit and manage associates, addressing their strengths and opportunities. Maintain positive relationships and ensure compliance with company policies.

• 30% Operations: Manage store processes, including inventory, payroll, and store operations. Ensure adherence to company guidelines and utilize digital strategies.

• 10% Safety/Loss Prevention: Ensure a safe store environment, protect company assets, and comply with HAZMAT regulations. Analyze and utilize available reporting and technology.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent

• At least 18 years of age

• Minimum 3+ years retail sales/customer service experience preferred

• At least 1+ year(s) prior management experience preferred

• Ability to lead or support a team to meet business objectives

• Effective communication skills

• Scheduling availability to meet business needs

• Cosmetology license desirable, but not required
