About the role
The Assistant Manager is responsible for supporting the Store Manager in managing and developing the team, ensuring optimal customer experiences, and maintaining brand standards.
Responsibilities
30% Brand: Supervise and plan associate activities to maximize sales and customer loyalty, ensuring brand standards are met.
30% People: Engage, train, and develop teams, manage team performance, and foster a positive work environment.
30% Operations: Ensure compliance with company processes, manage inventory, and maintain store operations.
10% Safety/Loss Prevention: Maintain a safe store environment, protect company assets, and ensure compliance with safety protocols.
Requirements
High School Diploma or equivalent
At least 18 years of age
Minimum 3+ years retail sales/customer service experience preferred
At least 1+ year(s) prior management experience preferred
Ability to lead or support a team of associates to meet business objectives
Effective communication skills
Scheduling availability to meet business needs
Cosmetology license desirable, but not required
