About the role

The Assistant Manager is responsible for supporting the Store Manager in managing all store operations, developing and leading the team, and ensuring optimal customer experiences.

Responsibilities

• 30% Brand: Supervise and plan associate activities to maximize sales and customer loyalty. Ensure brand standards are met and resolve customer issues.

• 30% People: Engage, train, and develop the team. Recruit and manage associates, addressing their strengths and concerns. Maintain positive relationships and ensure compliance with company policies.

• 30% Operations: Manage store processes, including inventory, payroll, and store operations. Ensure adherence to company guidelines and execute digital strategies.

• 10% Safety/Loss Prevention: Ensure store safety and protect company assets. Analyze reports and maintain compliance with HAZMAT training.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent

• At least 18 years old

• Minimum 3+ years retail sales/customer service experience

• At least 1+ year(s) prior management experience

• Ability to lead or support a team

• Effective communication skills

• Scheduling availability to meet business needs

• Cosmetology license desirable but not required
