About the role

As a Sally Beauty Advisor, you’ll be part of the largest hair and beauty supplier in the world, helping customers express themselves through hair. Your primary focus will be creating a memorable shopping experience by assisting customers with hair color, cosmetics, skin care, nails, and more. Sally Beauty provides extensive product knowledge training—you bring your passion and personality.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships and inspire customer loyalty.
• Recommend additional and complementary products.
• Inform customers of current promotions and events.
• Set up advertising displays and arrange merchandise to highlight sales and promotions.
• Educate customers about and enroll them in the Loyalty program.
• Complete transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Maintain a professional store environment and communicate inventory issues.
• Demonstrate Sally Beauty’s Culture Values.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• 1+ years of retail sales/customer service experience preferred.
• Must be available to meet the scheduling needs of the business.
• Able to communicate clearly with customers, co-workers, and management.
• Ability to apply product knowledge training to assist customers.
• Can read and explain product labels.
• Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs, occasionally while on a ladder, with or without accommodation.
• Physical requirements include long periods of standing, walking, bending, crouching, stooping, stretching, and reaching.
• May be exposed to fumes, odors, moving parts, carts, or machines, and occasionally irritant chemicals.
