About the role
The Assistant Manager is responsible for supporting the Store Manager in managing all aspects of the store, including brand, people, operations, and safety.
Responsibilities
Brands: Supervise and plan associate activities to deliver exceptional customer experiences, maximize sales/KPIs, and drive customer loyalty. Ensure all brand standards are met.
People: Engage, train, and develop teams to achieve business objectives. Manage team performance, maintain positive relationships, and ensure compliance with company policies.
Operations: Ensure efficient execution of company processes, manage inventory, schedule staff, and adhere to safety protocols.
Safety/Loss Prevention: Maintain a safe store environment, protect company assets, and comply with HAZMAT regulations.
Requirements
High School Diploma or equivalent
At least 18 years of age
Minimum 3+ years retail sales/customer service experience
At least 1+ year(s) prior management experience
Ability to lead or support a team
Effective communication skills
Scheduling availability to meet business needs
Cosmetology license desirable, but not required
