About the role

As a Store Manager at Sally Beauty, you will manage talent, inspire your team, and ensure every customer receives an unforgettable experience with custom-fit solutions for their hair and beauty needs. You will oversee all store operations, including meeting or exceeding sales goals, maintaining budgets, controlling expenses, growing sales, and managing inventory. Your role includes protecting customers, associates, and store assets by enforcing safety and security rules, as well as Company policies. You will also ensure your store maintains a visually appealing environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team-oriented, dynamic store environment.
• Drive customer experience by ensuring high-quality service and solutions.
• Oversee store operations, including sales, budgeting, expenses, and inventory management.
• Meet or exceed sales goals and financial targets.
• Enforce safety, security, and Company policies for customers, associates, and store assets.
• Maintain store appearance and presentation.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of customer service/retail sales experience.
• 1 year of previous sales management experience.
• Experience in operational, financial, and performance management.
• Cosmetology license is a plus but not required.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Passion for hair and beauty.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs, occasionally while on a ladder, with or without accommodation.
• Long periods of standing, walking, bending, crouching, stooping, stretching, and reaching.
• Recurring lifting of moderately heavy items such as shipment or record boxes.
• Exposure to moving parts, carts, or machines, and occasional exposure to irritant chemicals or fumes.
