007 - Bashas' Deli Asst. Team Lead - Hayden & Indian School

Responsibilities

• Directing department personnel in the absence of the Deli/Bistro Team Leader.
• Maintaining department goals and objectives.
• Communicating with the store director and deli/bistro department supervisors.
• Ordering necessary products and supplies to maintain adequate stock levels and merchandising standards.
• Preparation and serving/merchandising of deli/bistro food service items, including breakfast, lunch, dinner entrees, fried chicken, pizzas, prepared salads, sandwiches, and other meal items.
• Displaying deli/bistro merchandise according to department and company guidelines.
• Rotating deli/bistro items for sale, ensuring quality and safety.
• Maintaining compliance with food safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Receiving and auditing merchandise and supplies, breaking down orders, and positioning products in designated areas.
• Monitoring product pricing, signage, and placement, and using product shelf tags and signage.
• Ensuring cleanliness and orderliness of sales counters, food prep areas, and storage areas.
• Working safely around sharp objects and hot equipment.
• Taking customer orders and ensuring timely completion to customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

Must be 18 years of age. Must be 21 years of age for positions that serve alcohol. Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not required. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods.
