About the role

The Assistant Manager is responsible for supporting the Store Manager in managing and developing a team of associates to ensure optimal customer experiences, effective store operations, and adherence to brand standards.

Responsibilities

• Brands: Supervise and plan associate activities to maximize sales and customer loyalty. Ensure all brand standards are met and resolve customer issues.

• People: Engage, train, and develop teams to achieve business objectives. Manage team performance and maintain positive relationships.

• Operations: Ensure compliance with company processes, manage inventory, schedule staff, and adhere to safety protocols.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent

• At least 18 years of age

• Minimum 3+ years retail sales/customer service experience

• Minimum 1+ year(s) prior management experience

• Ability to lead or support a team

• Effective communication skills

• Scheduling availability to meet business needs

• Cosmetology license desirable, but not required
